Traci Navis, CSW (she, her, & hers)

Traci earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Winona State University in Winona, MN in 2004 and received her CSW in 2007. Traci is looking to further her education to receive her Master’s degree in Social Work in the near future. Traci’s professional work experience has spanned the spectrum including work in the schools, work as a county social worker, as a supervisor in the correctional field, and most recently as a CCS Service Facilitator in a county Behavioral Health Unit.

Traci has been trained in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, Correctional Offender Management Profiling for Alternative Sanctions (COMPAS), facilitation of Domestic Violence programming, Cognitive thinking programming, and also specialized in Re-Entry programming while in the correctional setting.  

Traci has a work history supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, abuse/neglect, LGBTQ/Gender transitioning, behavioral difficulties, and substance use from ages 6-90.  Traci embraces working with clients from diverse backgrounds and likes to create an environment that not only allows individuals to thrive, but to also enjoy their life along the way.  Traci uses a strength-based perspective, she focuses on empowering and supporting her clients while emphasizing their strengths. She uses a client-directed approach, where she works alongside the client using humor, compassion, and understanding to build a trusting relationship while working towards meeting identified goals.  

In her free time, Traci enjoys spending time with her family and friends, loves to travel, enjoys being active, competing in any sport, boating, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.

Traci provides Comprehensive Community Services to Columbia, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe and Sauk counties. Traci is not currently accepting new patients.
