Scott A. Ethun, LCSW (he, him & his)

Scott received his Bachelors’s degree in Social Work from UW Eau Claire in 1980 and his Master’s Degree in Social Work from UW Madison in 1986. Scott has 40 years' experience working in Social and Human Services, most of those years he was providing Clinical Supervision to a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals along with individual therapy and family psychoeducation. A specialty for Scott is his work in the area of severe and persistent mental illness. 

Scott's therapy approach is a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Rational-Emotive, and Person-Centered therapy. The emphasis is to find strengths and build on these for a better quality of life. He is open to working with adults and late adolescence with mental illness and working with their families. He has experience with persons struggling with both mental illness and substance abuse. 

In Scott's free time he likes to spend time with his wife and 6 adult children. His passion is to be in the outdoors doing a variety of things mostly with a rod and reel in hand!

Scott provides Comprehensive Community Services to Columbia, Dane, Dodge and Sauk counties. Scott is not currently accepting new patients.
