Certified Brainspotter/Critical Incident Responder

Lizzie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She brings experience from a variety of settings, including Family Care, Inpatient and Outpatient services, and Comprehensive Community Services (CCS).

She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Lizzie’s approach blends evidence-based practices like Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and somatic/sensory techniques.

At the heart of her work is a client-centered, strengths-based philosophy. Lizzie is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel heard and empowered. She’s passionate about connecting clients with the outdoors, helping them build a sense of safety within themselves, and encouraging growth at their own pace.

Lizzie approaches every individual and family with a trauma-informed and diversity-informed lens. She strives not only to advocate for her clients—but to help them develop the confidence and tools to advocate for themselves.

Lizzie is a trained SMART therapist (Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment), as a Certified Advanced Grief Counselor (CAGC), and certified in Brainspotting.

Lizzie is also trained in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). She is available to do Defusings and Critical Incident Debriefs for your agency as well as annual wellness checks for your staff.

In her free time, she loves to be outside with her family and pets. She enjoys traveling to different areas in Wisconsin, reading, and spending time near water.

Lizzie provides outpatient services virtually and at the Reedsburg office and Comprehensive Community Services to Adams, Dodge, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe and Sauk counties. Lizzie is accepting new patients.
