Jim Giebel, MS (he, him & his)
Jim earned his Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 1994, his Teaching Certification in 1987, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a Writing Emphasis in 1985, all from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Since retiring after 30 years as a high school English teacher, Jim continues to work with young adults as a substitute teacher.
One of Jim’s biggest passions is playing guitar and singing for an audience. He shares this experience by teaching beginning guitar lessons to youth and adults. Other musical instruments he has explored are harmonica, ukulele, and mandolin. A banjo may be on the horizon.
Jim is married with three adult sons. He and his wife also have two dogs. Other hobbies include biking, hiking, kayaking, attending concerts, and cheering for his favorite sports teams.
Jim provides Comprehensive Community Services to Adams, Columbia, Dane and Sauk counties. Jim is currently accepting new patients.
