Jill M. Symanski, MS

Jill received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Master’s of Science Degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Jill has been a Licensed Teacher for Grades Preschool through 3rd Grade since 1998, including spending 10 years as a Kindergarten Teacher, and a Licensed School Counselor for Grades K-12 since 2004, working with Grades K4-8 for 11 years. 

Jill utilizes a strengths-based approach to working with administrators, teachers, children, families, and the communities they represent. Jill has extensive experience working with children and teenagers experiencing academic and/or learning struggles, sensory integration issues, autism, depression, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, behavioral difficulties, social skills concerns, emotional regulation, building resiliency, developing a growth mindset, practicing mindfulness, and dealing with family change. Jill incorporates positive behavioral management strategies, play-based therapy, social stories, and maintains a genuine passion for helping children and families in all she does. Jill works with ages 4-60+.

In her free time, Jill enjoys time being in nature, gardening, long walks in the woods, relaxing at the lake, reading, and spending time with her family, including her two children and close friends.

Jill provides Comprehensive Community Services to Columbia, Dane, Dodge and Sauk counties. Jill is accepting new patients.
